I want to get a alternative down comforter but I'm not sure which one to get. I have seen several different ones in many stores and I can't make up my mind. Do you have any recommendations? I need one for a twin bed. Would this be a good one? http://www4.jcpenney.com/jcp/X6.aspx?GrpTyp=STY&It...

What is a good down alternative comforter?

The one that fits your budget. They are all the same.
That one is really costly. You can get better deals at TJ Maxx, Target, Walmart, etc.
I bought a Land's End at Target, and paid $39.00 for it.
That looks adequate - you can bulk it up a little by using a cotton "duvet cover" - this will reduce the need for dry cleaning, and keep the comforter from sliding around!
Yes, it looks good to me. It's 300 thread count which means that the cover will wear well. Polyester is also washable.
