Answer:
A hurricane is a powerful storm of the tropics. Most forms in the Atlantic ocean, it forms when warm moist air from the ocean moves over the ocean, causing the warm moist air to rise. The rising air cools and becomes a cumulonimbus clouds or thundercloud which forms the eye of the hurricane. The wind of the hurricane is caused by the spinning of the earth.
Hurricanes can affect people in a number of ways, including:
1. High winds and storm surges can cause damage to buildings and structures.
2. Flooding can occur from the torrential rain brought by hurricanes.
3. Hurricanes can lead to power outages and other infrastructure disruptions due to strong winds and flooding.
4. Damage to crops and livestock can lead to food shortages, displacement, and economic impacts.
5. Hurricanes can cause injuries and deaths due to falling debris, drowning, and other storm-related hazards.
6. Hurricane preparedness and response efforts can strain local resources and put a burden on vulnerable communities.
