For example, in 1975 Bohemian Rhapsody was known for being advanced, complex, pushing the boundaries of studio technology, etc.
If that was pushing studio boundaries in the 70s, what does the same in modern times? Thanks, hopefully that made sense

I don't know, but it's not Bohemian Rhapsody like Anne said.
No song has come close to over-taking Bohemian Rhapsody. It is even in The Guinness Book Of World Records as the best rock song ever written and it is not there for "pushing the boundaries of technology", either. It is there because of the intricacy of complex musical genres perfectly arranged into one song and for the talent with which it is performed.
