Verified answer
I would assume the whip.
The whip. When you crack a whip, its end tip breaks the sound barrier.

Dude: that depends on your definition of an invention.
If you define an invention as any man-made device previously not known to mankind, that IS an invention.
A whip is definitely man-made, even if it was carved from animal skin. And at some point in ancient history, the technique of using or making a whip was unknown to mankind.
How is a whip not an invention? I mean you called it a piece of leather ... do you realize the work that goes into making leather?
And you asked the first human invention to break the sound barrier not the fastest thing.
this would be an elementary one. If the international gets too warm, we've shown that we are able to proceed to exist it using fact the "Cradles of Civilization" have been in warm, dry factors. If the international gets chilly, then we've already shown that we are able to stand up to ice a while, and that's with none "severe" technologies. If the international gets overpopulated, it incredibly is going to, out of necessity, stability itself out. i do no longer think of we could be hectic approximately surviving the subsequent a hundred years. the real question is the thank you to we shop the subsequent a hundred years from turning out to be the subsequent dark Age.
