i have a 18 inch RE audio and it was only 399 it hits ridiculously hard my roof flex's windshield moves seats shake steering wheel shakes and even popped open my back window
i could supply it to the Kicker Solo X, The RE Audio XXX, The Orion HCCA, or the Pioneer SPL Champion... those are all great, very stable, and intensely loud audio device... between 2000 and 3000 watts rms... And the Jackhammer is greater for only asserting you have it... It incredibly has no purpose for real automobile audio applications. MTX has additionally placed out a 24" sq. subwoofer...
Spend like 1000 dollars more and get an 18 inch kicker solo X
fi btl is pretty nice or just a 15" RE XXX but you have to remember when you go big your sacrificing accuracy for spl and the sq wont sound as good either. so on those fast drum rolls/ beats an 18 wont always keep up.
Polk makes excellent subwoofers and you can get them at a local store like Good Guys or Circut City.
First of all 12" subs are the best for sound/bass i I would reccomend gettig a t5 12" soundstream sub they kick so much *** they are 900rms these things are not toys...
It's pretty difficult to determine a "best" since that choice involves your budget, listening preferences, space limitations, power limitations and more.
