I'm Catholic.
Lent ends on Easter.
But what time does it officially end?
Is it 12:00 Sunday Morning, after I go to church...
Lets say I gave up candy & soda for Lent.
At what time can I eat a Snickers?!
Help me out Catholics!

I'm not Catholic but according to what I know Lent technically ends on Holy Thursday when the Lord's Supper is done but most people continue Lent until the day of Easter. I don't think there is a specific time or anything.
Lent begins with Ash Wed (the day after Shrove Tues - also Mardi gras day)
and ends at Midnight on the Saturday before Easter Sunday. It is a time
of preparation and observance of the Lord's suffering at the crucifiction and preparation for His Glorious resurrection on Easter Sunday. It is done for 40 days between these two dates which do not include Sundays(so technically you can eat your snickers on Sundays, but not other days of the week). This is a
time of reflection of our own lives and is often compared to Jesus's 40 days of trials and suffering in the dessert. Many people 'give up' something for lent such as drinking or eating certain foods, but many spend this time in
examination of their own spiritual life and try to do make more permanent
changes for the good.
Technically, with the aid of fact the season relies upon the Jewish way of reckoning time, Lent ends at sunset Thurs. evening for that's the top of the previous day and the commencing up of the recent, which as a effect is the Triduum. it fairly is a outing of time because it encompasses the final Supper, the ache interior the backyard, all of Jesus' sufferings, His dying, burial and Resurrection all of that have repercussions that resound for the time of eternity. BTW, this is why they say He became lifeless for 3 days. The final area of the 1st day, all the 2nd and the 1st area of the 0.33. In Jewish reckoning any area of an afternoon counts with the aid of fact the entire day. Then the attention of Easter. *sneaking it in merely before time* Alleluia! he's risen. he's risen certainly. Alleluia!
Midnight tonight.
Eat a snickers at 12:01
Enjoy your snickers tomorrow!
whatever time jesus was resurrected i should imagine.
the problem is nobody knows when that was.
When Hitler says it's over.
