certain websites like iwastesomuchtime.com and grouchyrabbit.com, which are both done by dearblankpleaseblank.com, however that one works. sometimes it simply pops up on google too.
the message reads:
"stop running this script?
a script on this page is causing your browser to run slowly. if it continues to run your computer might become unresponsive"
then has a yes or no button but no matter what button i click it simply freezes, or disappears for about two seconds before reappearing. like i said it's not just those joke websites, it happens on every day sites too. it used to happen on facebook a lot for the polls, but it never froze or anything and would go away and keep running if i clicked no. now it just doesn't. it won;t even let me exit the website, i just have to shut down the computer. and it freezes the whole internet bar open so i have to open a new one.
so why does it pop up and how can i stop it from popping up or unfreeze it.

probably infected.
it is probably trying to load your computer with
so much crap, your computer can not handle it.
that's all i have to say on the matter.
.
The only thing I can think is that the website is too difficult for the computer to load, or there is something wrong with the website itself. I've been having the same issue with iwastesomuchtime, dearblankpleaseblank and grouchyrabbit.... But I don't think it's a virus or anything. I've been running scans on my computer and so far nothing has turned up and I've only had issues with those sites. Since they're all run by the same people I kind of have a feeling it's a problem on their end rather than ours, especially because I haven't had the issue on any other sites.
Sorry I couldn't give you a real answer, but just thought I'd let you know you're not the only one with this problem. :/
