Question:
Why do Philippines experienced only two distinct seasons?
Answer:
Because the Philippines is a tropical country. Tropics countries are exposed to the sun that’s why it doesn’t experience the kind of seasons like other countries have. The Philippines is near the equator. So its either summer, summer cold, warm rainy, cold rainy. The reason why the Philippines have to season is because of its geographical location. Being in the tropics it is always directly facing the sun during daytime with a variation of about 20 degrees sometime on December. The other factor is the prevailing wind during some some months about June onwards which bring about rain for about 6 months. Lately however, the weather pattern shifted due to global warming.
