The X –chromosome is bigger when compared to the size of Y chromosome so that any barr body formation in XX into XO is result in “teratogenic defects” in the developing embryo. However, a zygote or embryo without Y chromosome can survive during development but the loss of X chromosome would result in inadequate genetic information in the cells so that may leading death of zygote.
