•There are plenty of ways you can save water in your student digs, like taking shorter showers, avoiding small clothes washes, and turn all your taps off.

•Volunteer. If you don’t have money to give, donate your time. Many organizations and zoos have volunteer programs. You can help clean beaches, rescue wild animals or teach visitors.

•Use minerals in planned and sustainable manner, recycling of metals.
