PROBLEM:
You are making a triangular garden in your TLE. There 25 plants in the first row, 21 plants in the second row, 17 in the third row and so on. If the pattern continues, how many plants will be there in the seventh row?
ANSWER:
The answer will be 1 plant.
The pattern is minus 4 in each term.
[tex]25 - 4 = 21[/tex]
[tex]21 - 4 = 17[/tex]
[tex]17 - 4 = 13[/tex]
So on and so forth until you reach the seventh row.
